The Welcome Weekend Housing Committee encourages people to sign up to host admits for the weekend (April 17th-20th). Ideally, they hope to match admits with students that share the same career/club interests.
In additiona, the Housing Committee seeks volunteers for the following:
- Complete the Housing Guide Survey (available here)
- Provide housing for admits during Welcome Weekend
- Host open houses
- Speak on a housing panel
- Submit apartment photographs

Ray Evans, W’36, was memorialized Sunday in the Academic Awards ‘In Memoriam’ section of the program. He and his writing partner Jay Livingston C’37 wrote such songs as Silver Bells and Que Sera Sera.

Digital Rights Management: Dead or Just Evolving?
On January 10, Amazon.com announced a partnership with Sony BMG Music Entertainment to offer music downloads without digital rights management (DRM) software, which typically limits how content can be used. The Sony BMG deal was significant for Amazon because the e-commerce giant now has all four major music labels, along with thousands of independent ones, selling songs without DRM technology.
