2008 Media Summit NYC - March 12-13

mediasummit.gif

For those of you that are going to be around NYC during spring break, the 2008 Media Summit in New York City will be held March 12 and 13. “The 2008 Media Summit New York is the Premier International Conference on Media, Broadband, Advertising, Television, Cable & Satellite, Mobile, Publishing, Radio, Magazines, News & Print Media and Marketing” This seems like a great conference with Bob Iger and Leslie Moonves as the two keynote speakers and a variety of workshops and panels run by people in the industry.

The general price is nearly $1000. HOWEVER, there is a student special available for only $75, which seems to be an all-event ticket for both days. To get this price requires to have a group of five or more. Because we are so late in the game, this needs to be organized fairly quickly. First, we need to figure out if there are enough people that would want to do this, so please email Marina Segal marinas@wharton.upenn.edu and let her know ASAP (ie, by Sunday night) if you are interested. Once we get a list of people, I will email out further instructions. We have to send our info to the registration people as a group, so I will have to fedex the necessary papers (list of people, copies of IDs and payment) as soon as possible so they can register us. This cannot be done at the door.

Please see full itinerary at: http://www.digitalhollywood.com/MediaSummit.html
